  • （2）La Llorona(泣く女)→Wikipedia等には、Mexico民謡の歌としての解説と、アメリカ映画『ラ・ヨローナ ～泣く女～』の二つがあるが、後者の挿入歌とは違うようである。そこで、前者のMexico民謡と思う。良い歌であるが日本では全く紹介されていない歌である。

    ”La Llorona” (lit. ”The weeping woman”) is a Mexican folk song. The song originated in the Isthmus of Tehuantepec. Its origins are obscure, but composer Andres Henestrosa in about 1941 popularized the song and may have added to the existing verses.[1]

    La Llorona is derived from El Maninche, the Mayan Princess who eventually married Cortez, the infamous conquistador of Central America. She drowned her children out of misguided mercy. Eventually she was demonized by the colonizer as a witch; but truly, legend reveals that her two sons were set up to be murdered in Spain, and she made a disgusting decision to deliver a painless death to the very life that she helped to produce and protect.

  • (3)『ベサメ・ムーチョ』（Bésame mucho）→は、1940年にメキシコのコンスエロ・ベラスケスによって書かれた楽曲[1]。彼女はこの曲を、16歳の誕生日前に作った。

  • コンスエロ・ベラスケス・トーレス（Consuelo Velázquez Torres, 1920年8月21日（1916年8月21日?）[要検証 – ノート] – 2005年1月22日）はメキシコの女性作曲家・ピアニスト。17歳の時に世界的な大ヒット作品となる『ベサメ・ムーチョ』（Bésame mucho）を作曲した。他の作品に「カチート（英語版）」など。
